Senior Housing Relief for Elders (SHORE), in partnership with AidandAttendance.com, (an affiliate of Silver Corporate Holdings, LLC, aka SilverAssist) is offering financial grants to assist California seniors in applying for the Aid and Attendance benefit. This initiative aims to support seniors and veterans’ spouses in their transition to senior or independent living.
The partnership is focused on covering costs associated with both basic and premium services offered by AidandAttendance.com. This collaboration reflects SHORE’s commitment to alleviating the financial burden for senior veterans needing help with the complexities of the Aid and Attendance benefit application process.
Eligibility for the SHORE Grant:
- California residency.
- Seniors aged 65 or above, or spouses of veterans.
- Intent to apply for Aid and Attendance benefit for senior living transition.
- Asset possession under $155,356.00.
Covered Services:
- Basic Service ($199.00): Online application completion, mistake alerts, and a PDF application copy.
- Premium Service ($499.00): Includes all basic services plus phone, email, data entry support, and a final review with a benefits specialist.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and are open year-round.
